Sorry
That is due to my lack of expertise in lighting and balancing pictures
Our web pictures are taken and cleaned up by someone much better than I with images
The Tangerine in person is really nice - when I took it to the office everyone was really impressed with its looks [even the mountain bike guy that thinks all bikes should be matt black]

I am pretty sure that Mike said that there was no appreciable weight savings to justify the cost increase.

i would say that Reynolds 520 is better than some 4130, but most decent frames labeled, as such would be on par, as for me I'm very disappointed, there where rumblings that the TT pro was going to be OX platinum. i'll be saving my pennies for a Rush

I sense a great disturbance in the universe...as if millions of budge-conscious fixed gear shoppers suddenly sighed...
Anyway it's basically a Bianchi Pista now, with slightly better components all around and more color choices. I suppose that's progress.

Question
Do the Kilo TT's sell pretty fast? and if so does it just take a couple of weeks to get them?
Or is this like...a new stock every 6 months and I should pre-order mine now.
I wanna get the 55cm frame and from what I've been reading that size frame will probably sell the fastest.
I'm just trying to get the best bike for the money and the best fit and I'm not sure if I should wait this one out a little more or get it now.

BD, Is it possible for you guys to post pictures of the Kilo TT pros in all its various colors? Im not the biggest fan of the color swatches like with Kilo TT. That green looks different in person than it does online.
Not that these wont sell out, but I would be more inclined to buy one faster having seen pics of complete bike in the color i was interested in.

I believe they don't have the bikes to photograph yet. If they did, we probably wouldn't have to wait until 10/7 for them to ship. I believe Mike said this Tangerine one was a sample that was rushed-delivered to him and I think it's the only one they have at the moment.

^^ Considering the TT PRO. Just had a few questions
How does the crank compare to... a Sugino Messenger?
How are the wheelsets compared to... Alex R-450
How is the bottom bracket?
I guess I just want to know, can i keep this bike forever without failure or is there stuff I'm going to not want, but NEED to swap out within a few months?

well obviously no bike or components will last "forever", but I doubt you'll "need" to change anything on this bike after a few months.
I think you'll be fine and happy with this bike, or any bike you buy and keep for more than a week. Considering you've bought an IRO only to put it on CL 24 within 24 hours of owning it and then getting a Leader 721 built and putting it on CL after a week or two, it sounds like the thrill of buying new things is more exciting for you than actually keeping and riding a bike Not that there's anything wrong with that, just an observation.

After watching all the hype around this bike, I have to say based on the pics/specs this bike is weaksauce.

The only thing killing it for me is the decals (white decals on creme bike might look nice). And the machined rims just look really awkward with all black components. But if I didn't already have last years kilo, I'd be all over this. My kilo is holding up wonderfully, it's my daily ride for work/errands and my wheels are still true. And only thing replaced from failure was the headset.

Lol. Daybreak, I swear this next bike will be my last. =) So if this have upgraded cranks, bottom bracket, better wheelset, why is it not an upgrade from the regular TT?

this is kinda random and dumb but ive always had a quill stem never a threadless. so would i be able to put on a quil on the kilo tt or kilo tt pro? since they come threadless now?
or would i be able to cut down the steerer(?) so the stem can be lower with out the steerer being like an inch above it?
again sorry for the question but i dont know much about threadless

It is somewhat easy to cut down the steerer, I was able to cut mine, but a shop can also cut it down for pretty cheaply, I think. And yes, you can have part of the steerer above the top of the stem, and it can look a little bit awkward, but shouldn't affect performance.
