Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Stolen bike in the PDX North red fetish

My best friends bikes were stolen from his locked bike room in his apartment and he is really bummed. Can you please keep an eye out for these two bikes? I am waiting to be approved at PDXfixed.com and will post there soon.

Fetish

"the first is a 56cm Fetish Cycles Attack track bike. It is bright red and has "Fetish Attack" written in big letters. It has a no-name Chinese carbon fork, nitto bullhorn bars, a Titec stem, a white selle italia saddle, white velocity deep-v rims, a white chain, and iro cranks. It is pretty hard to miss, in that it is kind of an eyesore, but I built it out of love and I want it back"

Redline Conquest

"the 2nd bike stolen was a 2006 54cm Redline Conquest. It is light blue, has all of the stock parts (shimano shifters and dérailleurs, ritchey wheelset, shimano pedals) and is in pretty good shape, with a few random stickers on the top tube and the down tube. This was my first real bike, and I miss it too"

If you have any tips or leads he is offering a reward. Reply or PM me and I will get you in touch with him.
Thanks,
Dan

it was right around johnson and 22nd.
someone got into the building, either buzzed in on walked in as someone was leaving, went into the laundry room and then broke into the locked bike room. They only stole these two bikes.
