threaded fork fit???

need some help. have never dealt with a threaded fork and i just have a fitting question. my headtube is 90mm and i think ideally i would want a 150mm but i am going to get a 170mm/50mm rake because 150's are extinct. i realize that i am going to have excess space, but i could either just cut that down or add spacers right? thanks

The only thing you need to ensure is that the threaded section is not extending too far down the fork and that there is enough of it once you cut it down. Please don't make two threads to ask the same question.
