i hate this thread because i ruined my keyboard from vomiting. I looked at yet again another ugly Langster. Who designs such an ugly sloped top tube bike.
Also i do not see how toe-overlap affects everyday riding and turning, when i turn i bank it pretty sharp (without striking pedals of course) and barely turn my front wheel and thats even 90degree turns.

you are correct about toe overlap though. i wear a size 12 and have massive toe overlap on my sloped tope tube fixed gear but ive never made contact during everyday riding.

Toeclip overlap is seldom an issue in real riding, but if it bothers you don't bother with shorter clips. Toeclip length is determined shoe size; using the wrong length clip will position your foot improperly over the pedal and your pedal stroke will suffer. If the overlap is a problem for you, try shorter crank arms and/or a lower profile tire. If all else fails, a frame with less aggressive geometry will often have a longer front-center and thus reduce or eliminate the problem.

the only time ive ate it because of toe overlap was in a grocery store parking lot going 1/2 a mile an hour carrying grocery bags on my handlebars.... even when going 7 miles an hour on a bike you never have to turn your wheel to the point where toe overlap is an issue..

1. how long are your cranks now? like everyone else said, try 165mm.
2. get lower profile tires
3. make sure the balls of your feet are on the pedal spindle. if over, get shorter clips.
4. pretty much every track bike has toe overlap. is it really that much of a problem?

If it's really just 1-2 mm, point your toe down a little more.
