Actually QR both front and rear. They come with bolts, but they are compatible with QR skewers. They are basically road hubs, except that the rear is a SSFG fixed/fixed flip flop with 120mm OLD, so they can be used with either a SS freewheel or a fixed cog + lockring on either side. The front will work with any road QR, but the rear requires an old school closed cam type QR lever to provide sufficient clamping force to keep the wheel from slipping. The QR levers are old parts I had in my parts bin. The neat thing is that you don't have to carry a nut or bolt wrench in your tool bag if you have to remove the wheels to fix a flat tire.

I actually picked up a set of spank spikes today and a pair of 510 freeride pro's. It'll be nice to be able to put my foot down on the more technical stuff.
I also picked up an xtr cassette, which should shave about 200grams off the bike.

And neither do the thieves! That's cool though. I hardly lock up my bikes so I kind of wish I had QR on the rear for times I want to make small adjustments in chain tension

A pair of Shimano SH-RT50 touring shoes off ebay. After weeks of contemplation and speculation on a shoe more appropriate for my daily commute then my SPD-SL shoes I decided to just buy this so I could stop wasting time looking at the same options over and over again

Even though I live in the greater Los Angeles area, I live in one of the small pockets where most people wouldn't be caught dead on a bike so mine are pretty safe too. People around me don't care about anything unless it has a Mercedes badge on it.

A new chainring for my SS with one less tooth. An unfortunate acknowledgement of my deteriorating condition during this darker, colder period of the year.

This is a stupid game.
It's probably something hardly noticeable, like spoke gauges or something...
Or it's probably something terribly noticeable like they sent two fronts or something, but you can't tell cause the picture was taken with a television remote.
