Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I found them at Sigma Sports in a 45...I have various shoes between 44 and 46. My current road shoe is a 46. However, I just went crazy and ordered a size 46 from Arts Cyclery as well.

I sent Sigma Sports an email to see if they could cancel my order before they ship. Will have to see what they come back with, if not, I'll have two pair and sell the least comfortable. Knowing my luck, they'll both be too narrow and I'll be screwed twice over. I don't think selling them for cost will be too difficult though, since they're ltd ed, only 400 made.

They will match the new helmet perfectly though.

Wow, those are great looking rims, I just got a light blue anodized Vitus and these would be amazing on it. Got anymore details on them? Axle width and if they're tubular or not? Also if you don't mind, the price these things go for?

Yes, more details on the rims please. I searched and found images of them, but can't seem to find them anywhere for sale.

They're Mavic Cosmic Pro's produced by Mavic in the mid-late 90's. Axle width is 130mm and they are clinchers. A tubular version was made aswell. From what I can gather they go for $200-400 on eBay depending on the condition. I got these for $400 but had $60 in ebay bucks and a coupon so I only payed $329.

A little info here too.

Just ordered a Fizik Gobi XM Muzzle saddle and a set of Velocity Deep V's laced to formula hubs for my Kilo TT. All I have left to get is a Thomson Elite seatpost and I'm all done

The XC-279s just came in, and I have to say, the machining is ****ing beautiful. Nicest breaking surface I've ever seen. Even though it's a pinned joint, I had to really look to find the seam.

Can't wait to lace these up. Just waiting on hubs and nipples.
