Good wheelset?

I've got an old Univega sportour, looking to convert to fixed. The bike isn't the most beautiful thing ever (scratched and chipped paint), so I'm not looking for fancy pretty wheels or anything, just something that works. She currently has 27 inch wheels with a 120mm rear spacing. I would buy a 27 inch fixed rear wheel and call it good if I could find a decent one for a decent price. However, I'm starting to think it might just be better to throw some 700c's on her for the sake of more tire choices (I need new tires anyway). I found these: https://www.bicyclewheelwarehouse.com...&productId=204, although not sure whether the wheels are that good. Found em on a post on CL and the guy says they retail for $230. Anyone know if these wheels are legit, or possibly of a good 700c set or 27inch rear wheel?

OK, Well what kind of bearings should I be looking for? Any suggestions for other wheels?

What's wrong with loose bearing hubs? I don't think we can assume the guy can't figure out how to deal with them.

True, they have little balls that can fall out but if you have 3 brain cells it's not hard. I'm not saying those are good hubs and wheels but I wouldn't stay away from them for that price due to the bearings.

Kinda gives me the feeling you work for benscycle.net. Nice wheels though, thanks for the input.
