Most bike shops can do it - takes about 10 minutes if you have the correct tools

Any chance they'll have horizontal dropouts or track ends? This resulting versatility is the big bonus I see with the cross-check.

Still have not gotten final drawing back from frame factory

I'll see if we can do a horizontal drop
but these frames will be 130mm spacing for road type hubs; not track
and of course; they will have lots of brazeons including cable stops for multi speed

130mm spacing makes sense, and popular fixed hubs are readily spaced out this far anyway for those who don't want to set the frame. It just seems vertical dropouts are a waste of potential, since the rear wheel presumably has plenty of clearance. Then again, I may well be in the minority on this one, and customers may expect to see "standard" vertical dropouts instead.

Can you guys do an option where we can get a threaded fork? Also, can we get a frame without brazeons or mounts? I would definitely be interested if that were the case.

I feel like I keep bugging you on this, but this would be awesome. doesn't even need any chrome treatment (which is quickly becoming over-saturated as it is). maybe extruded fork & track ends, left unpainted where the wheels bolt on.

Completely agree with everything here. Just please, threaded fork and sans brazeons/mounts option.

yes, add an integrated seatpost clamp in the mix also.

It would be nice to get some nicer track ends, maybe with integrated tensioners like the Jamis sputnik. Oh, and drop the bottle mounts, if I want a bottle, I can add one behind the saddle.

We can do lugged frame no problem
But it runs price up $100 in paint and $200 if I chrome the lugs
Plus sizes become limited due to limits on lugs available

Would people but a $350 frameset in lugged?
or $450 in lugged with lugs chromed?

Threaded fork comment all over kinda surprise me - threading fork is easy
Maybe I should have Jeff add a 'thread fork and install headset' option
I am guessing for $40 Jeff could thread and install this : https://bikeisland.com/cgi-bin/BKTK_S...ils&ProdID=657

Next run will probably be in the early summer and I will rotate in a nice metallic red and metallic blue -- I think those would look real nice

$350 for a non-chromed, lugged frameset with integrated seatpost clamp, no mounts, unpainted track fork end, and threaded fork option? You got it. Well, at least from me.

holy cow
$900 for a 4130 frame?
I can do a super nice DB custom tube Ti frame for that!

Maybe I could give the lugged 4130 track frame a shot

what sizes would be required
lug availablity is not like it used to be - so sizes from 52c to 58c [c-t] are probably fine
but very small and very large require lugs that are not generally available

I am also up for something fun
just look at this - which I am doing totally just for the fun of it {am I the only one that has trouble getting pictures to post where I want them to on this new system?}

I actually held off getting a kilo when I heard you were considering this - I'm holding off in the hopes of getting a lugged (painted) 58". Also liking the head tube badge but like others, would prefer something more than a sticker. Still, it's a start.
