Kilo TT in Chrome and Paint/Chrome -- at last

I had lots of nice input on the Kilo TT frame coming in Chrome option
and in option of Paint/Chrome

So I ordered a bunch and at last they are in

Here are the photos

https://www.bikeisland.com/images/kttdlx.htm

I would love comments on this design

Including would it be good for complete bikes in the 2011 year model?

Yes, that would be good.

Including a basic no-suspension MTB with gears would also be good.

On a marginally-related note, do you all have any plans to open any brick and mortar CycleSpectrum stores in CA any time soon?
Buying a fixie online is one thing, but I'd kinda like to try out my next road bike in person before dropping $1k+

i assume the chrome is clearcoated with decals underneath?

I think you are doing a good job of keeping people open with options,but how many times are you going to rehash the same frame???? If you are going to change the paint, then upgrade the tubing.....maybe give it a 27.7 seat tube so we can run carbon seatposts, or maybe a 1 1/8 head tube. Quit giving us the same frame with different paint(Its still the same frame,nothing has changed but the color).

Sorry - no stores planned for CA -- but I do not know what road bike you are looking at; but buy a Ti Moto and if you do not love it after the first ride; box it up and PM me - I'll pick it up at once and refund your money! {you my guess there has not been one of those returned yet}
But seriously - we sell tons of road bikes online every day; customers are happy with the ride on our bikes.

Basic non-suspension MTB - you are talking an entry level? a mid level? pro type? 26 or 29er? Aluminum, 4130, or Ti? CX or AM?
Interesting type of niche bike - but might be fun

I really wanted to also have a Red/Chrm; Blue/Chrm; and Yellow/Chrome -- but factory has limits on how many colors they can do in a run.

however, the Tangerine is really nice cyclists like me that love yellow and orange bikes.

I think you are correct - need to add this in 2011 year model [which starts July or August of 2010]

Framests are available now https://bikeisland.com/cgi-bin/BKTK_S...ls&ProdID=1759

Chrome has a clear coat I think -- I have not actually seen one; but Jeff at bikeisland would know
only one decal on this bike -- Headtube {plus Reynolds decal on ST}

Thanks for the input

Kilo TT frame I would keep the same

But I can easily add a frame with 27.2 seatpost and a 1-1/8 HT

Any suggestions other than that?
Geo change?
braze-ons?
dropouts?

We have Track Team, SST-AL, Jury, and Fantom Cross Uno which are selling well -- plus a couple of 29er SS that sell to
But we could easily add something else if customers want other choices

Have the double TT Kilo OS frame on the way
and I think I will get some Kilo WT [as we get requests for that]

bikeisland does a lot of frames and wheels; so I am always looking for ideas in options there

I'm pretty sure a touring/commuting gear-friendly version of this chromed frame would sell insanely well, especially with those chromed stays.

I also wish you'd dust off those plans for a cross-check rip-off -- Surly's frames have nice features, but relatively low bang per buck. I'd jump at a cheaper version of the cross-check or a similarly priced version with better specs.

Regardless, nice job on this frame.
