Which do you prefer and why?

I'm looking at the Nitto RB-021 and the Profile Airwing, but I'm pretty open to whatever at the moment.

I think there are about a hundred topics on it, but for what it's worth I have Syntace Stratos 400's and the cheap Nashbar horns laying around.

If you don't care about branding, the Nashbar ones are great and cheap. Surprisingly similar to the Stratos 400's. The Stratos have a nice sweep back on the tops that makes them a little more comfy, a little more drop, and internal cable routing.

The RB-021's were what I originally wanted, but I decided against them. Expensive and more drop than I wanted.

I gotta pair of rb-009's for free a couple months ago, I like em alot, I assume the other nitto bars are just as excelent. I've heard some complain about flex in them but at 180 I don't feel much, maybe its just because I was using the origin8 bullhorns before, now those... they were flexy, I was worried about breaking them sometimes.

Nashbar TT bars. I like em, they have a slight drop to them, not as much as Rb-021, and they are comfy. No flex so far and I got em for cheap! < $20!

grrr!! i was about to pull the trigger on a pair of 40cm rb-009s but someone beat me to it and now all that's left on the nets are 42cm!!!!

I was looking at the same thing. I'm not quite sure that they're the geometry I'm looking for, but for $15 it's sure worth a try.

They have a 50mm drop, compared to Rb-021's 60mm drop. I like em alittle better. 021's drop seems alittle too much for me. but hey, thats me.

I had my eyes on the Nitto RB 002 for awhile because they have less drop than the 021s, but it seems like they're kind of pricey for what they are. Now I think those Nashbars seem to be calling my name... A cheap way to get my feet wet with my first set of bullhorns.

Hey! We have the same frame..and apparently bullhorns too! haha

I had my eyes set on the 021s because i like the drop in those, but theyre a bit pricey in my opinion :X

Thanks for the pic - it's good to see the bars actually on a bike. They look like just what I want. I rode both a Redline 925 (flat bullhorns) and a Jamis Sputnik (drop bullhorns) this weekend. I bought the 925 because I liked the rest of the bike better, but the Sputnik's handlebars felt perfect.

Well I just got it recently so its pretty much stock except for the MKS track pedals and the bullhorns, haha. Not much to show, but when I do get some changes done i'll be sure to show you!

I currently use Syntrace Stratos 400's because I was uncomfortable on RB-021's. On my setup, I found the 60 cm drop on the Nitto's to be too much on my wrists and not very ergonomic. THe syntace stratos solved both of those problems and as a bonus, I personally think they look better.
