$450 is around how much a quality track aluminum frame costs nowadays.

Alien V2, $400; is what I would buy if I had $500 budget for an aluminum frame.

That is too expensive imo. Too many other good options out there like the aforementioned Leader & Alien, and others like the MTT, etc...

Actually that might actually fit me pretty well. I ride 58cm frames because my torso is so long in comparison to my legs. I almost have no standover flatfooted, like if I were in boxers my junk would be pressed against the TT, but if I'm in cycling shorts I have about 5mm of clearance. However, the TT fits well.

i ride around 60cm frames with 57-58cm tt and 110 stem. 59,5 feels just so long for the actual frame size. would suspect a top tube like this on a way over 60cm frame but not a 56.

I'd rather have the Motobecane Team Track or the Leader 725 for an aluminium track bike.

Well that's a bit harsh. Their steel frames and cranks seem to be a good value for entry level stuff.

I don't agree with this at all. Their steel frames - even though they may be a little on the heavy side - are solid, well made and of above decent quality. Except for Jimmy's. His totally sucks.

I'm sure the aluminum version is a fine frame...just a little overpriced for what it is.
