Long and productive day at the shop... was also reminded that when you brush against something that was just at 1000 + degrees that skin just turns crispy.

Reminds me of the time I tried stick welding 1" plate while wearing a nylon based shirt and jacket - stuff melts right into your skin

So many PEOPLE of ALL looks and genders are utterly stoopid.

You only notice the hot girls because you are wired/conditioned to do so.

I walked to Wally world to buy some cheap grips for my risers, and walking back through a parking lot across the street, found $40. Not a car parked anywhere in that whole half of the lot. Stoked.

Walmart was only like a mile away. Bike shop is like 5, and its barely above 30 here. And really windy. So I didn't want to ride, and thats a lot of walking in the cold. They'll get the job done.

OR I just jinxed your chances of having it.

Yeah it's happened to me before w/ UPS & Fedex, the greatest killjoy of them all especially toward the late evening hours when "it should be any minute now" because it's toward the end of their delivery timetable.

UPS always delivers stuff to us at like 7pm, which is awesome since that's when I get home from work so I almost always get it on the first try. With FedEx I always miss the delivery in the afternoon then have to go way down to South SF at night to pick it up at their depot... annoying.

Today my photographer friend posted a picture of me attempting to ride a gigantic bicycle in Tahoe this weekend. It was missing the cranks and chain, unfortunately.

Too bad houses are a million bucks in Tahoe, I'd love to live there.

Today I got a steroid and numbing shot into my right hip for Bursitus. One of the most painful things I've experienced in a long time. Justifies the booze I'm drinking right now.

My GF had her wallet stolen from inside her purse yesterday at a mall here in the Philippines. It must have been some really slick person because we were there barely 15 minutes before she realized it happened. We suspect it was a woman, too, cuz the only time she was at close proximity with other people was at the security line getting into the mall. ****in ghetto as people, man...
