I failed haha. I made it to tunnel ave, and realized I had a pinch flat on my front tire. Limped back to the Bayshore caltrain station and took the train home.

That's a darn shame. Always carry necessities.

That 2009 gray Mash never happened but after four hours of train riding I finally returned with this.

Definitely. I've never seen one in person before until I picked this up today and I have to admit, histogram frames look great.

I had a chance to ride the Mash (particularly the histogram). Not a fan but I do love the paint job!

Thanks. I couldn't be happier with how it came out. I highly recommend this setup.

I stole the saddle, handlebar, and wheelset from my Kilo TT so I could ride around and get a feel for what I want to change on this temporary build.

I'm trying to imagine it with shallower rims, not sure if I'd like it more or not. Opinions?

Didn't think it would be hard to find, but man... Here's a histogram with Archetypes:

Haha I looked at every Histrogram with Archetypes on PR, I guess what I meant to ask is do I like how my bigger frame looks with shallower rims? My big 60cm Kilo looked really funky with Ellipses.

I don't like the looks of forward slopping frames with positive rise stems, one negates the other it doesn't make sense, otherwise nice build

I think it's just the bar angle that's making it look all wonktown.

+1

If those bars were positioned correctly, the 0° stem wouldn't look bad at all (and probably be more comfortable).

A Fiftysix Vigorelli with a CX fork. 48/21 gearing. The owner says that there's just enough room it the rear for 37 mm Smart Sam (which means that it's real width is =/< 35 mm). I suggested him that he should replace that puny rear tyre (30 mm CX Pro) with Smart Sam and put a 42 Marathon Winter to front.
