The Shot lever is cool because it allows for braking from either side of the stem. The Dirt Harry has much more of a powerful feel though.

I often see HPlusSon Archetype rims put with higher-end hubs on pre-built wheelsets.
Are they that much better of a rim than Velocity A23s, which seem to have a similar profile and lighter weight? Or is this difference negligible?

If I had to choose one over the other, I would pick Archetypes. As a fairly experienced wheelbuilder who has worked with many of both, I can honestly say that H+Son's quality and workmanship surpasses Velocity's on many levels.

H+Son > Velocity.

Are the Kinlin xr300 and deep-v silver colors similar? Reason I ask is because I was contemplating using a xr300 up front and a deep-v in the rear.

Kinlin silver is pretty close to Velocity's polished silver.

I have, when I lived in Phoenix. It's good but I prefer regular ol' chorizo, Aside from that, green chorizo is a unicorn in these parts...

I get up really early and making/eating awesome food is something I enjoy. My days at the shop are usually pretty hectic and that's my "me time" before starting the machine.

That would be some pretty gross cereal.

i usually get up pretty early myself, and i love making and eating awesome food too, i think my only motivation in the morning at this point is getting on my bike for my 45 min journey into work

i think it has to do with the time involved with making it
maybe i should start doing half the work the night before so it doesnt take so much time in the morning although i do like the whole "ritual" part of chopping and slicing and mixing and throwing stuff in the pan and hearing that noise and smelling smells

I like the carbon look, but im sure thats just the spacers, I'm still torn between the 2 different forks for my leader, whether i go all carbon or carbon/aluminum. But I still need to get cranks and pedals before i worry about the front part

The GR-10s look like a nice improvement over the 9s with the center cross piece. But, the super pedal flipper on the Urban Platforms look very nice. Is that one reason you used them on your new bike?

i crashed my front 20h a23 laced with sapim lasers. BUMMER RIGHT? it was bad enough that i had to smang the rim against the curb to get it straight-ish to ride home.

can i reuse the spokes?

I've got size 12 feet so the slightly wider platform is very appealing and they're super comfortable. Sealed cartridge bearings are also a huge plus.

The large flip tab was actually a little hard to get used to but now that I've got the hang of it, it's nice.

As long as none of them are drastically kinked, you should be okay to reuse them.

have you noticed 710SLs stretching quicker? I swear my first one lasted 1200 ish miles, but this last one I put on is over .75 within 200 miles, and I'm butthurt about it
