Sweet; backcountry & competitve has them for $140 w/ free shipping (but backcountry has free 2 day vs competitive's free ground); competitive has more colorways over all.

PLUS MORE HOLES
Actually the adjustment brace in the back has a much greater degree of adjust-ability and comforte while being more supportive at the same time than the deluxe version. Makes the helmet a tad bit bulky than the deluxe but well worth the trade off.

That's interesting... The website said that the biggest difference is the colors in which it is offered and the ability to use a visor on the plus model (purchased separately)

Also saw this from another distributor

La única diferencia entre el Catlike Whisper y el Catlike Whisper Deluxe, es que el Deluxe, tiene las cintas y las almohadillas en color. Respecto a los demás, el casco es exactamente el mismo que el Plus.
Maybe the two you were comparing were different generations?

Pictures are always better to convey things than words, the gist of what I was trying to get at:

Deluxe:

Plus:

So which of those two would you rather have? I mean, its a $5 difference on Competitive. And after talking to my dad, he told me to send him a link since its almost Christmas, and not to worry about buying a helmet. I also sent him to a Uvex thats on The Clymb cycle for only $60, when retail is 200.

Still pretty sure it's a generational thing because some seem identical other than the name printed on the back. It's really confusing regardless.

I usually wear my bern watts helmet but I actually found a pretty cool looking helmet at wally world.
genesis brand....yeah idk but it looks good...still debating whether to remove the visor or not. the back actually looks pretty aggressive for 24 bucks.

Never underestimate helmets. They've legitimately stopped me from ending up a vegetable more than a couple times. All through reasons out of my control, such as getting doored.

reasons I wear my Lazer Helium:

1) it's pro as ****
2) I mount my light on it while delivering food. helmet stays on while the bike is locked up, no worries about getting light stolen
3) seriously looks ****ing menacing. racing is all mental, and i'm winning before the race even starts
4) it is honestly the most comfortable helmet i've put on my head
5) sick graphics
6) fast
7) safety and stuff

Got back to the U.S. and home yesterday and was finally able to try out my new Catlike Whisper Plus World Champion. If anyone's considering the Whisper and has a head bigger than 61.5 cm get something else. I got a large and it fits absolutely perfect and snug with all the adjustments at their max. If my head were any bigger or differently shaped I could imagine it would be uncomfortable but for me it's a perfect fit.
