In some cities, can't you deliver marijuana? Mostly I guess I'm talking about Cali but I know they deliver in NYC too.

BTW, that just made the top of my dream job list.

the 8 ice bag scenario: it was heavy as hell and I literally biked it for 4 blocks from store to the beach. I used stretch-ropes with hooks to hold the bags in place on top (obviously i couldn't roll-top/close it).
the 12 cans + 12 bottles scenario isnt all that crazy. I was even able to close the bag. It was heavy and I biked it for 10 miles: great for legs!

I recommend Bailey Works bags personally. I have the mid size and can easily haul a twelver, 2 six-packs and ice

Legality issues aside, NYC's the better choice between those two. Prices are so ridiculous there that delivery guys make a killing. . .or so I hear. That stuff rots yer brains. . .

I want a keg bike, but realistically I do a lot of runs to out-of-the way liquor stores to get rare beers. Saturday night, I had my lock, some tools, work clothes, two 12oz. beers, three bombers, and a fifth of whiskey. My bag wasn't near full. A couple of months ago, my wife and I went to Nashville for five days and we both packed in my bag. Had a water bottle and a book for the bus in her purse, but other than that it was all in my vandal, including a big gift for a friend. Also, we are both light packers, haha.

Those look pretty nice, but I'm not nuts about those straps. If you ride with a helmet, pulling a strap over your head can be annoying. I prefer something with a clip or a buckle up front.

I use a blaq design bag myself.
https://www.blaqdesign.com/Pages/Prod...?&itemId=10015

I like the refurbished seatbelt buckles they use. Only complaint is that the rough side of the velcro is on the flap so sometimes when I open it it scratches my face (this could be remedied by not being a 'tard but I haven't figured that one out yet). Also the strap tightening system isn't as hitech as some other brands. Never been an issue for me.

Not sure if their large is big enough for the OP tho.

I used to use a RELoad bag, and it was great. Now I have a Chrome Berlin, which I like even better except for the fact that it hangs a little loose on me when it's not full. Any good courier-appropriate bag can fit a case of beer (or a copy box), but this one can do it comfortably, and that's what counts. I used the Berlin for my last couple weeks of courier work, and it was actually fun to carry boxes.

Bagaboo workhorse XL is my preferred bag. Over the Berlin which is also decent.

I like the Bagaboo for the u-lock holder as opening the bag to take out the lock is a ***** in the winter.

Both bags have the extra strap but I like the workhorse strap better. The Berlin xtra strap is cool because it has a fancy Velcro pouch to fit into.

I do not like the chrome stabilizer strap. I think it sucks on all their bags. It's in the wrong place.

The expansion straps on the Bagaboo are basic and they work. On the chrome they are over-engineered and really annoying.

The Bagaboo is waterproof like the smaller Chrome bags. Kinda like an envelope that wraps up on itself. The shape of the Berlin makes it not work as well in this regard.

For size comparison, I put my fully loaded chrome metro into the Bagaboo and had rOom to spare.

It happens everywhere. I've seen people deliver weed by bicycle in almost every place I've stayed a night. It's probably a little more legit here in LA though.

But of course. It's why bicycles were invented actually.

And when the delivery guy shows up he says - "Someone called a plumber? I got a call about some empty pipes..." [secret code]

And then you're all...

Another nice feature is that MW uses lightweight material so the bag is very light. Cordura is strong but it is also heavy- I like the MW because it's got the most volume but is also the lightest pack I have.
The carbon fiber backplate is nice to keep the shape too.
Vandal isn't a perfect bag, but it's pretty good and will keep your stuff dry in a serious downpour.

Empty, it feels like nothing. Other packs, while excellent, are actually pretty heavy even empty.

I was looking at the berlin but soon realized that they only have them in a left shoulder option. Probably gonna go with the seagull xl. Its the biggest one I've seen so far. Does anyone know about Dank Bags? They look pretty rad.

Heh, yeah I know about dank bags. And yeah, they're pretty rad. Depending on the quality and quantity of course.

As far as delivery service, I hear the markup is significant though.

Depends on the store you work for, and the owner you get, it can get fun. The owner came in and made everyone shave last week

you will be riding in the rain. and the cold.
and the owners are pretty strict, we dont get off days, the place is interesting.

was raining sideways my whole shift today,

I had a ****ty owner and managers at the JJ i used to work at. My current owner and managers are awesome though. Work is always fun. Rain, 106 degree weather or cold. BTW JJ corporate policy allows facial hair. It just has to be neat.

And I use a Chrome Pawn. Too small for my current needs. Looking at the Ortlieb.
