KHS Flite 100 thoughts

Hey y'all - I did a search and didn't find much about the KHS flite 100... My BF is looking at getting a new bike, and we just found a 2012 in his size for 20% off ($530 instead of $650) from one of my favorite bike shops. I just gotta hear what BFSSFG has to say about it.

I saw one old post where you guys were all saying it's exactly the same as the Kilo? Is that really true? Same components and everything?

Thanks dudes.

At a glance, they appear to be the same bike.

I'm pretty sure they're the same bike.

The frames are the same, but the components are going to be a bit different. People favour the Kilo because of the low price point, but that's actually a decent price for the Flite 100. It's a solid choice, for sure.

For reference

Pros:

Cartridge bearing hubs

Cons:

Track drops
cheap chain

Kilo TT Pro comes better equipped for less money.

+1 If money isn't an issue then aesthetics are all you should be concerned about. And imo, the Kilo TT Pro looks far nicer than the Flite 100.

Except he could buy from one of their favorite shops, or buy from BD.
