Noob question [Mercier Killo TT and valve stem length of tubes]
I bought some sunlite thorn resistant tubes 32mm (these) and now after trying to patch my tube which somehow got 5 holes in it at once I decided to switch it out for this one.
The valve stem is not long enough to inflate once mounted, my question is
1. Is a 32mm valve too short for a mercier kilo TT (stock rims)?
2. Am I installing it wrong?
thanks

Oh, and those thorn res tubes are really heavy, I'd invest in better tires or liners before I went with those.

why not just compare the 32mm valve to the one that came stock, problem solved. Go on Nashbar and buy some tubes.

Your cog is slipping.
Without knowing which version he has, this thread is dumb.

Even with 22mm deep rims, 32mm valve stems barely stick out enough to attach a pump head to inflate them. I only use them on traditional box section rims.
