Speaking of events, I noticed we are pictured on the web page for the event we rode last year. See the upper-right corner of Tour De Vineyards

My kid is just over one year old and trying the balance bike already. If I want a track bike that small I guess I will have to go custom.

Bought some crank shorteners for the tandem trike and managed to get the young fella out.

Thanks for the welcome. Have been reading this forum for quite some time. Registered several months ago but never posted. This is our second tandem. We had a 1966 Schwinn Deluxe Twinn 5 speed that we rode for short rides. It was too small in the stoker position to be comfortable for my wife. Her knees hit my butt. I did do some longer rides on it with a friend who is only 5 ft tall. Worked out good with her. After buying this one we sold that one to a friend in Wisconsin. It is working well for them since they are smaller than we are. Also they like it because most of their riding is with a classic bike group. The schwinn was all original other than the tires, tubes, cables and housings.

After working on that bike it was kinda hard to give it up but nice to see it go to a good home where it gets used and good care.
For touring we have front and rear Old Man Mountain racks and panniers. Front rack not on in the picture a few posts earlier. We may meet some of you at MTR in Fort Wayne.

Nice picture. Road looks nice and clean. Would love to ride that. Yesterday afternoon took a friend out on the tandem. We roamed the greenways and streets around Warsaw and Winona Lake, IN. Rode 24 miles. Didn't rush but took time to stop and read signs and take pictures. Averaged 11.5 mph. Her husband watched their 3 small kids so she could go out riding.

Old bridge built in 1894 over the Tippecanoe River west of Warsaw. Just off the old 1928 route of the Lincoln Highway.

Great day riding. This afternoon when my wife is off work we are going out to the same area since she has never ridden there.

Riding out triplet with our 8 y/o son, Trevor....this was a pic after the finish of the 70 mile El Tour de Scottsdale last fall...

This was last weekend at the El Tour de Mesa. We "raced" this 70 mile event on our Robusta (won the tandem division overall!) and Trevor rode his single road bike in the 11 mile Fun Ride. Fortunately, the Fun Ride didn't start for about an hour after the finish of our event. Here he is on the drops sprinting to the finish!

Wife and I in the 70 miler:

The wife and I were also on that trip (purple Arriva), you guys were smoking that leg from Calistoga to Gesyerville into the nasty headwind.

Nice shots! We've yet to do a tandem rally but they certainly look like they would be fun.

Hey Hermes, what is the "L" shaped bracket on the stoker's bar?

Colotandem, probably has pics of your team on the road as the stoker took a lot of shots on the road. We knew that the wind was going to be hard on the way back so we took it easier on the way out and averaged 17.2 mph and 17.1 mph on the way back.

Hey Hermes, what is the "L" shaped bracket on the stoker's bar?
Cane Creek speed bars.

I think we had 40 tandems at the rally.

Rented a Burley in Eindhoven Netherlands. Rode the Hovenring, the first suspended bike roundabout.

Wow the cycling routes are amazing. Got dizzy riding round and round the Hovenring.
