That's great, I'm sure we will run into you. We have friends of ours, also from Ontario, Canada, coming to the rally too.
This will be our third year and we really enjoy the smaller social aspect of this rally. And as for the climbing, there are several routes offered each day ranging from shorter, easier terrain to longer, hillier routes.
Are you going to try to make the optional Friday social ride?

We are going to try, I will be getting off a 12 hour night shift but we are only 3-4 hours away depending on border crossing. We are staying at Adirondack hotel so likely check in then find starting point.

Is the climbing long steady grades or short and steep. My fiancé has done a lot of hiking in that area but closest to riding in that area is Finger Lakes.

We are staying at Gauthier's Saranac Lake Inn, just down the road from you. If you don't see you on the ride, we will try to find you at the social Friday night.

If you are used to riding in the Fingerlakes area, I don't think you should have a problem.
