Also training for the century! Should be a great flat and fast ride.

I've spent the morning reading up on the ride this year. Registered a few weeks ago for the 100 miles this year. Missed it last year because of the weather/road debris issues but still had the metric century on the rescheduled date. Can't wait for the ride. Type 1 diabetic.

I am a Clyde rider who is Type 2. Recently had my first baby girl and weighing over 300 lbs I am using the short 10 mile as my first event ride. Friends and family have really stepped up and I have busted the $200 needed in one day of posting my donation page on facebook.

I know 10 miles isn't squat to most here - but I have NEVER done anything like this and tonight I will be pulling the bike from the garage and hop on it. First time in 3 years.

We all had to crawl before we could walk... don't sweat it. Just get your exercise in, lower your BG level and get healthier. Biking is a great form of exercise.
