Northwest Arkansas Touring rout

I live in Northwest Arkansas. I'm planning my first tour for the third week in May. I have used google maps, bikely, mapquest, many different atlases. I can't figure out a good way to plan a tour. I am looking for a 5 to 7 day unsupported trip on paved roads with safe traffic conditions. If anyone has any suggestions for the tour or a map that shows the difference between paved and dirt roads I would be extremely grateful. Thanks.

I've been planning something similar from near Bentonville to Little Rock and points south. The county traffic count maps are very helpful.

There are also some routes on the state tourism site you may be able to to use or modify.

I know it is not a multiday trip, but you can ride to Devil's Den via HWY265 for a good training/shakedown ride.

Also you migth check out this...
2007 Arvest Northwest Arkansas Challenge. June 7-10 the NWA Challenge is a four day tour starting in Fort Smith and travelling through Russellville, Harrison and Fayetteville before returning back to the Fort. Last year this ride included about 100 participants and promises to be just as fun this year. Check the site for details and get signed up! https://www.fgsg2.com/NWAchallenge/default.aspx

Also, have you checked Arkansas Gazetteer? It has very detailed maps of AR with campsites and parks listed.

Thanks for the info, those traffic maps are really helpful. I had completely forgot about the Arvest Challenge. I may just steal their route. Thanks
