Journal of half a Tour de France
This year's Tour de France was 22 days and 2100 miles. This May, I did a 26 day, 1100 mile ride from just outside Paris to Avignon. While these two events have nothing in common, I was a bit shocked when I realized this odd fact.
I have completed my journal of the trip. Of the 875 pictures I took, 536 made it into the 26 page journal.
I know there are various errors in the pages as I haven't made a final pass through all of them. If you see anything real obvious, please let me know.
I hope you enjoy the journal. The ride was a life highlight!

I has places to stay (using both couchsurf.com and hospitalityclub.org) for 11 of the first 13 days. The rest was supposed to be camping but the rain prevented that.
One of my best memories was meeting French people in their homes and sharing a little bit of their daily lives.
