Very nice. I've got the same lighting setup on order. Just one thing: you can get smoother cable routing if you route the rear shifter cable to the left side of the downtube, and the front shifter cable to the right. You then cross the bare cables under the downtube so they enter the correct guides at the bottom bracket.

Nice bike reno. Those hammered fenders are classy. VO or Honjo and how easy to install?

Actually I just noticed the VO logo.

I'm not sure what you mean by smoother?

They are Velo Orange fenders and they've really gone out of their way to make them dead easy to install.

Scroll down to the section on "criss-cross" cable routing.

On my Boulder Bicycle I ran the bar end shifter cables all the way under the bar tape with lots of extra bends. The shifting is perfect. It doesn't seem like worrying about a slight additional bend in a cable is worth it.

Can't disagree with that. I think the point is more or less academic. Which mirror is that?

The one on the Boulder Bicycle is a Blackburn mirror. I replaced it with the B&M Mirror shown below:

I have those same fenders and front rack! I love how beautiful the fenders are but have been having a devil of a time eliminating rattles from them, how're yours doing? That rack is ABSOLUTELY BOMBPROOF. Nevermind what it is rated for, you can actually carry over 200lbs on it!

All my metal fenders are totally silent. If your fenders are rattling then something is loose. Do you know what part of the fender is making the noise?

BTW - I love my OMM racks. That's virtually all I use on all my bikes. Heavy duty, light, easy to mount and nice to look at....
