A leather saddle is not for every one.
They will never get soft but will become more comfortable the more you ride on it.
The comfort of leather is its only real virtue over a plastic saddle.

Brooks is not the only leather saddle out there. Joe, check out Selle Anatomica saddles. They really are comfortable right out of the box.
