Bike Route Planner

Probably a stupid question at this point but I need a site to plan a ride around Alabama. I had a plotter on my old computer but that got trashed and I can't find the site. Help. I need to get a general idea of the distance etc.

Milermeter

I use regular google maps with the bicycle path choice turned on for planning, then plot it using MileMeter.

I just use a combination of Google Maps and a decent paper map.

Another vote for RideWithGPS, and the premium version prints out nice cue sheets as well as downloads into a Garmin. (The free version is very nice also.)

iPhone tomtom app. Bicycle routes, POIs, spoken directions (that make sense at cycle speeds).

Third vote for ridewithgps. I use the free version and use it daily for any and all ride planning/logging.

Could you point out how the milermeter app is used in addition to the Google maps with Bikepaths info?
I was asking as Google map directions already provides the distance, etc.
I use mapmyride.com free version which does not allow to print but you can plot your desired route and see the distances.
