Title says most. I just picked up a new 2015 Langster Pro Black frameset. I have a new set of Sugino 75 cranks but I want to make sure I get the right length spindle. Anyone running the standard sugino 109.5mm BB? do you have any crank clearance or chainline issues? I planned to get a phil wood BB and they come in quite a few lengths.
Pics to follow when the build is done.
Hello everyone this is my first track bike and I'll be riding at Brian Piccolo in FL
Thanks for the reply. Now that I think about chain line your explanation it makes perfect sense. I was thinking about Omnium cranks having some clearance issues and thought I would ask about Sugino and the langster.
I believe the Sugino BB is 109mm I was planning on a Phil Wood BB (108mm)as I'm a Phil Wood dealer. But I may get the Sugino. I was thinking sealed bearings but I do remember the smoothness of my old Campagnolo square taper BB. That would be nice on the track.
Wheel build is next on the list. 50mm deep carbon tubulars with Phil Wood hubs.
I'll post pics when I'm done.
Anyone from Florida here, Monday nights are noob night at Brian Piccolo. They have bikes for you to try and are happy to see new faces.
