Other times during the day, I'll eat some peanuts, some pistachios, or a few triscuits, and sometimes a little chocolate.

Dinner varies considerably.
What are some common dinners you eat?

Orange Juice
Kellogs Frosted Mini Wheats: Those things are so good and as far as I can tell by looking at the nutrition info. the best cereal for you. It seems to have an abundance of everything.

From one of my favorite books, Superfoods RX by Dr. Stephen Pratt.
Here are the 14 foods you cannot go wrong with.
  1. Beans: A great low-fat, low-calorie source of protein and an easy way to help control your weight and your blood sugar.
  2. Blueberries: The best food on the planet to preserve a young brain as we mature.
  3. Broccoli: The best food on the planet to prevent cancer.
  4. Oats: A sure-fire way to lower your cholesterol.
  5. Oranges: The most readily available source of vitamin C, which in turn lowers the rate of most causes of death in this country, for example, heart disease and cancer.
  6. Pumpkin: Loaded with phytonutrients, which keep our skin young and help prevent damage from sunlight.
  7. Wild salmon: A guaranteed way to lower your risk for cardiac-related death.
  8. Soy: The only complete vegetarian source of protein.
  9. Spinach: The best food on the planet to prevent cataracts and age-related macular degeneration, thus ensuring a lifetime of good vision.
  10. Tea -- green or black: The easiest and cheapest no-calorie way to avoid heart disease and cancer.
  11. Tomatoes: One of the easiest ways for men to avoid prostate cancer is the consumption of tomatoes and tomato-based products.
  12. Skinless turkey breast: The leanest meat source of protein on the planet.
  13. Walnuts: Consuming walnuts is an easy, tasty way to lower your risk of cardiovascular disease.
  14. Yogurt: A tasty, easy way to boost your immune system.
I always suggest this list to the athletes I coach. As many of these as you can get each week and you will feel the difference.

I can't say I eat anything every day or even most days with the exception of chicken. I get bored with my food pretty easily. My grandmother on the other hand has either toast and jelly for breakfast or oatmeal. She has soup for lunch every day....the same exact soup(progresso chicken noodle) watered down to reduce the sodium content and adds veggies to spruce it back up. The only reason she eats something different for dinner is because she lives with me and I have to have variety in my diet.

I guess if we're being honest, I eat at least one treat--cookie or candy--nearly every day. And some days a lot more than one!

Kashi high protein/high fiber cereal, skim milk, & a banana daily and a snack somewhere in the day of
one 1/2 dollar sized Peppermint Patty to satisfy the sweet tooth and keep me on my boring diet. 53 cals, 1g fat- I burn it off!

During the week (I work both from home and at an office, so I'm including both)

Breakfast at work: Usually 2 bananas, or if I forget to bring them, a low fat blueberry muffin from the cafe.
Breakfast while working from home: Bowl of Raisin Bran

Lunch at work: Roast beef on a tomato wrap, spicy mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion and a pickle spear
Lunch while working from home: Usually a couple PB&J's (going light on the contents) on wheat bread, OR to change it up - 1 can of tuna split between two sandwiches, using Miracle Whip and a few pickle slices on each sandwich.

Dinner: Depends...sometimes a few more sandwiches, or if I'm riding a lot, pasta

Been eating hummus quite a bit lately as well...usually for a snack on pita bread.

I tend to follow a daily meal plan that goes something like this:

Breakfast~ 1 slice of whole wheat toast with all-natural peanut butter, coffee
AM snack~ 1 cup of yogurt, an apple, coffee
Lunch~ 1 slice of whole wheat toast with all-natural peanut butter, lots of water
PM snack ~ 1 cup of yogurt, banana, cup of tea
Dinner~ huge romaine salad with lots of veggies, some lean grilled fish / pork / beef / lamb (only one of these...not all of them. HAHA!)
Evening snack~ small bown of microwave popcorn, glass of wine / a beer

I also drink about 6-8 16oz of water everyday.

There's really nothing I eat every day. Here's what I try to have 4-5+ days week:

- Oatmeal (Steel Cut Oats)
- Oranges
- Some other fruit
- Spinach
- Salad

Things I eat very frequently, though not necessarily for the better:
- Peanut Butter & (Jelly, and/or honey, and/or banana)
- Diet Coke
- Butter Toffee Peanuts (my latest addiction, I asked the guy who stocks the vending machine at work to stop putting them in there)

What foods do you eat on a daily basis?
I have liver pate every day. Homemade from beef fat, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, a little homemade stock and chicken livers, sometimes rabbit livers.

I have homemade stock everyday, usualy as a hot drink as well as in my cooking. Fresh sauerkraut is something I have just about everyday and I usualy have beef or lamb mince everyday.

I try to have a green salad everyday but sometimes I miss one.
