1953 Bicycle Sidecar Plans
I've found a set of 65˝ years old plans in the 1953 January and February issues of Practical Mechanics magazine for a braked bicycle side car.
I'll get all 6˝ pages of them scanned properly at the library this week and then I'll let anyone who wants them have a set as a PDF download

I'd like a link for the PDF plans when you have it ready, please.

I too would be interested in a PDF copy when you get ready to share!
I have toyed with the idea of a side car on a couple of my bikes for the dog. He loves riding but gets bored in the trailer because he wants to see what is coming up.

Apologies for the delay: I have had printer and scanner windows 10 issues.
Here is a PDF file of the scans I have taken of the Bicycle side car plans from the `1953 practical mechanics Magazine.

Download the pdf file first and then open with your reader...

That is a path on your local pc.... that definitely will not work for him but the PDF in your earlier post is perfect.

Gee... designer sure went over the top drawing up that convoluted unnecessarily overcomplicated braking system
like 2/3rds of the article is about the brakes...
Was curious of how sidecar attached... hmm just 2 tabs hanging off the nondrive chainstay... have doubts how long that'll survive there's a lot of forces going on down there, even before cornering lean
