Fell today. Hurt my left arm. Don't think it is broken because I can still move it, just sore. I have been using older pedals because of the rough weather lately and the left one seized up and would not release my cleat. Sigh. Good ole standing still and topple over routine.. Done it before when I was a newbie, remember now the good ole humility that goes with it. Probably a dumb question but anyone else ever done it? Thankfully the bike had no damage. On the bright side, time for new bad weather pedals!
Yes, a year ago I had Look type pedals and I fell a few times. The darn things just didnt want to release. My family really got on me when I fell the last time. Got banged up pretty bad and being in my 50's the recovery wasn't the quickest. I returned to trap pedals until recently when I purchased spd type pedals and new shoes. I like them a lot and havent fallen yet. Love the clips but they have their risks.
