I wouldn't say it this way, because the bike itself looks really nice and I imagine it is fun to ride. At least as long as you don't have to climb up hills with panniers. I just wouldn't want to take a single speed or fixed gear bike for touring.

Yea it is a whole lot of fun to ride because it is my favorite bike and fixed is always nice but once I got up into the bigger hills of Virginia I started feeling the burn. I still had a great time but I don't plan on killing my back and knees with a setup like this for the rest of my life.
