This is my bar of choice for commuting. You have more options for hand position and you can do a lean on the bar to get aero if you want. And you probably wouldn't have to change the stem. Mine's pretty custom looking with Delta ergo brake levers on them so that I can brake from any position (sweet). And it's aluminum alloy.
