Great post, Lith.

This used to happen more often, but I think that Form only "snuck up on me" because I didnt have enough previous experience with a periodized training schedule until recently. It wanst really sneaking up on me, I was doing the work to have it appear (consistent workouts, good recovery habits, etc...).
While I've only been training consistently for 40-45 months or so, I'm finally realizing/discovering how my body responds to certain training stresses. I'm feeling like the appearance of Form is less surprising now. I do my work, never miss a workout, recover well and I get faster. Not too strange.

But I know the feeling of not wanting to "waste" good Form. It's challenging not to go hard when you feel great.

This is one of the best thing about being self-coached, though. You really learn what/why/how certain blocks of work are designed for and how your body responds in the grand scheme. A good coach does this for you... you have a coach, right?
