49 years old. Lost 40 lbs in 4 years but gained a lot of good health, low BP, and everything is under control. Ride 20 - 25 miles on week days and long rides (40 - 60 ) on weekends when possible. During the year I will typically ride a few centuries, brevets and longer organized rides for a total of about 6000 miles a year. i would say we are about in the same group.
This year i am concentrating on climbing skills and fitness and plan to pick up my overall speed too.
