I've taken a liking to the Velocity Aeros. Not the aerohead. Subtle domed aero profile, sort of like a more rounded Araya aero. They look great on vintage bikes. Haven't seen the VO rims yet. I have my suspicions that they are made by Sun. The erd is slightly smaller than on the cr-18s, but all the other rims they carry are sun, and the profile has a similar shoulder. If they are sun, I wouldn't be too thrilled about them. Also not a huge fan of single eyeletted rims.
Thanks for validating my assessment of the CR-18's- I was beginning to think I was going soft in my old age. I agree with you on the Velocity Aeros (not Aerohead or Aeroheat)- they're very nice. But the OP was looking for rims for a rim to go on a Campy-equipped Paramount, and aero rims just would not be appropriate.
