Not rough enough that I need my Mtn bike, but something where I'd rather have some wider tires. I'm sure I could go up to 700 x 28s, but I'm not sure beyond that. I see some tires like the Panaracer Pasela Tg available in 700 x 28, 32, or 35. Would most road bikes take a 700 x 32? Anyone know about the Allez Elite?

Thanks.
Tire sizes will vary greatly regardless of what the label states on the sidewall due to fudge factor. Best to try them on first before purchasing. I have an 03 Allez Sport and can put Continental 700x28 on the back. However, Conti's tend to run a little smallish for that tire. The 28's are more like 25 or 26 and the 25's are more like 23's.
