I been thinking the same thing until I checked and the earliest sunset is sometime around Dec. 7 or 8. Huh? Well, look it up. It might seem obvious, but sunrise gets later and later until sometime in early Feb. It seems crazy but true. Check the US Naval Observatory for sunrise/sunset tables for your location.
