I'm glad that you're okay, and weren't hurt more seriously then you were. That being said, are you really surprised? This is America, where passing the buck is becoming if not the national past time. Why take responsibility when one can blame the victim? And if the victim is a cyclist or is dead who are they to argue the point? Hell even here we find cyclists blaming other cyclists when said cyclist gets hit. Look at the thread about the cyclist in Pinellas Park. We have cyclists asking why they were on the road at that time of morning.

He even told the cop he wanted me to pay for the dent in his hood that my elbow caused (I actually think this was what pissed the cop off enough to give him the ticket).
That takes a set of brass balls. Glad to see that there are somethings that motivate the cops into doing their jobs.

I'm just astonished at how car drivers could ever believe that a pedestrian or biker is at fault when they hit them, by making the decision to get into a car and drive it they then are responsible for not hitting people. It's amazing how many car drivers are willing to get into an accident or drive recklessly because they "believe" they have right of way.
And drivers say that cyclists are a "weird group." It takes all kinds to make the world an interesting place.

Sorry for the rant, I'm pretty much over it now nothing I can really do now, just wish I had known he wasn't gonna stop sooner lol

Thanks for listening and sorry I hijacked the thread
Hey we all need to rant every now and then.
