Why do i get the impression that some on this thread have never dirven a car?

I read the article and it reads just like any other regarding a crash. Pick up driver drifts to right over corrrects, loses control and slams head-on into an oncoming vehocle. The bicyclist was an innocent bystander, lucky that the truck didn't hit him squarely, and the neighbor makes a stupid ill informed comment.

Where's the controversy here?

I have to say that i am entertained by the "good ol boy" sterotype. That a group so sensative to sterotyping would readily buy into it as theory for the crash. Maybe the guy was drunk, maybe he was swatting a bee, let's see where the investigation goes beforw we lay it on his southern upbringing.
