And, somehow i get the feeling you haven't read all my posts. That or you have a reading comprehension problem. I'm goin' with you haven't read everything.

If you had read all my posts in this thread you would know that i've worked in the city for twenty plus years. That is five or six days a week for twenty years. So, i grace the city with my presence quite often. In fact, the City of Philadelphia is the second biggest expense in my budget. The wage tax i pay is only second to my Federal income tax.

I can't speak for the coucilman, but again, if you read my posts I've advocated ways to avoid a full bike registration. I don't want bike registration for everyone. I don't think it's needed. But, if those Philadelphians who are speaking out on this board just sit and complain about it being a rip off, ill concieved, not really an issue, etc etc etc, without trying to influence policy, they are going to find themselves on the wrong end of an overbaring policy.

My take is to license a small group, messengers and other commerical riders. make it so they are easily identifiable on the street. Try that before moving to other groups.
