A Ti frame won't be damaged internally or externally by residual stripper but your point about it attacking some of the installed components afterward is well taken. I'd thoroughly hot water wash out each and every frame tube several times after the frame is stripped and drain it completely. Using a hair dryer to dry out the residual internal dampness is probably a good idea.
