I get that a lot... usually on the campus, where you'd think people would be used to people on bikes. Once I was holding my line tight in the right lane and some guy in a largish anonymous behemoth merged over hard to get into the turn lane which I was in, rolling up on a red light to make a turn. He came so far my shoulder brushed his mirror as I held my line, only other alternative being eating curb. I turned and he came after me into a parking lot where he yelled across his lady friend that I hit his truck and not to just ride away. I assured him my shoulder couldn't damage his tank and he might want to pay better attention who is in the lane next time. He berated me some more about respect, so I (explitives omitted) told him he should consider breeding with himself. He then made a remark questioning my sexual orientation and that he might have to do me some harm. I informed the kind sir that if he thought he had a chance to haul his rotundness out and find out for sure. No response, his lady was horrified. Bad PR for cycling? Yes. I'm generally a good natured pacifist and knew the situation wouldn't result in violence, I just refuse to be pushed around. Oh well
