I went by their online sizing chart. I have enough room under mine for some light thermals. It's not a "race" fit by nature but no flapping in the wind either. Perfect for my use. I love the full zip feature 'cause it warms up real fast here in NOLA once the sun gets up a bit in the AM. I leave work in the dark most days, so I zip all the way up.
