I just went out a measured my dia-compe gran compe which I has assumed was a nitto pearl rebranded, now I am not so sure of myself.

I measured 110mm on the nose using calipers and a drafting ruler along the top.

This means one of two things.

1. I am wrong and the discrepancy is closer to 10mm and this is a 100mm stem since there are no markings I cannot say for sure, but if so I apologize to six jours and others.

2. It was produced in the italian cinelli and 3ttt sizing standard and is a 110mm stem.

All still leaves me a little confus3ed about the whole thing. the trig. should not lie so I am still on the fence as to what measure nitto is specifying when they measure a pearl, if it is as I think it is the measurement should only be out by 5mm. So I've left the arena and am watching from the fence...
