sounds you're not pumping to a high enough psi (pinch flat) or something is popping your tube...I'd get that taken care of before riding again.
check your rim for any sharp edges or extruding spokes. I'd even replace the rim tape from the stock plastic stuff to velox, if you're getting mysterious punctures that are not caused by road debris.
this is actually the flat i had yesterday; i should have been clearer in the post. yesterday all the shops were closed, this morning was my first chance. i asked the dude who changed the flat if he saw what was wrong, he said it was a straight puncture, not a pinch flat. then again, this is the same guy who scratched my frame.
