Bikes: yikes, too many

So, I picked up the bike yesterday. My cousin's husband passed it forward after it introduced a number of youngsters to road riding. It fits my oldest son very well. The seat post is about three inches off the TT so it has a bit of growing room too. The bike is now a mut with a combo of Campy NR (RD 79 and shifters, Dia Comp levers, 105 Brakes, Nitto stem, Cinelli bars. the rest is the lower end stuff it came with. The bike is fairly beat up and I prefer it that way as it is my kids first road bike and what better way to introduce them to road cycling than on a bike with history.

I looked up the info on a Fuji site and found it to have been made in December of 1982 and it being an actual 1983 model year bike.

One thing I would like to look into is converting the bike over to a brifter shifting system. what should I be looking for? I have been told that Shimano made a SIS Brifter system but I am not sure it will fit this frame. any help with that would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Guy
