I have that seatpost. It's well worth its money. built in a similar fashion to a thomson, only slightly rough on the edges, literally.

A few tweaks I would do to it to reduce chances of it creaking would be to give the 'U-cup' and saddle rail clamp section a light sanding, as the edges seem a bit concave, which leads to creaking. Once the jagged edges are sanded down, no creaking at all.

kalloy uno has a version with roughly 32mm setback.

and absolutely stay away from older profile design seatposts, they're total junk.
