true, my route has many trucks plying them, probably causing all the holes and such. Then these holes are patched up, causing more bumps, and the cycle repeats itself over and over again..
i can ride 53x11 at 90-100rpm on a flat ground only when there's very little headwind. More wind, and i'll drop to about 70+, which warrants a shift. Indeed, to try reduce the vibrations felt, I've tried to keep a relax body, it helps, but sometimes the bumps are too much.
I weigh 140lbs. Also, i'm using clipless with shimano r086 spd-sl.
Guess i'll probably find some alternative routes someday! The reason why i like this route (not the quality) is because during off-peak hours, it has very very little vehicles, which means i can go faster without having to focus on cars every second.
