I googled "KHS Aero Comp 853" and found a page with the specs. That stem should be a 3T Synthesis, which is one of the ones I described - in fact, that's the model I was talking about. You will HAVE TO drive the cone out by SOME KIND of pounding. I'd have the LBS do it.
