Ride home last night was ugly. My main route (diaganol hwy between boulder and longmont) was chunky crud all the way home. On top of that my light battery died about 2 miles from home (run time is way down at the colder temps). I was please to see another commuter despite the terrible conditions (he passed me).

This morning was much better. The road was scraped clean (some packed snow and ice, some bare pavement). Temp was about 10F and it wasn't too bad. My toes were a little cold by the time I arrived at work.

I'll be happy when I can get back on my road bike (using my winter beater now with Nokian Mount and Ground tires).
